I’m so looking forward to our time together! My hope is for the day to feel relaxed, fun, and full of joy. A few little things can help set the tone for a great experience — I’ve outlined them below. Let me know if you have any questions!

Happy bellies = happy kids.

Please make sure your child has had a nourishing meal or snack before our session. I’ll have extra snacks and drinks on hand, but starting off with food you know they love makes everything smoother.

Rested kids = happier moments.

If possible, I recommend letting your child have a little rest before the session to help prevent tiredness or frustration. That said — if big feelings happen, it’s totally okay! I’ve spent years around little ones, and meltdowns don’t scare or bother me. I encourage you to handle it however you normally would. Please know I’m not judging, feeling impatient, or frustrated. It's very normal — and you're doing a wonderful job. :)

Let’s enjoy the ride, together!

During the session, I like to take a relaxed, organic approach. I've planned thoughtfully — the shots, the space, the flow — but once we begin, I love to simply watch, play, connect, and capture what unfolds naturally. You’ll often see me stepping back, not snapping constantly — that’s intentional. Trust the process, and trust that we’ll create the beautiful images we’re meant to.

One last note...

I recommend skipping any “pep talks” or “be on your best behavior” chats beforehand. In my experience, they rarely help and can unintentionally add stress.

At the end of the day, we’re simply here to have a good time — no performing necessary.

Again, so looking forward to our time together!
